Now, rotate "sex work" in for LGBT and it is the same source of fear and desparation for sex workers, especially street-based women. As shown in Korea, Sweden, Scotland.... This is why activists, especially those based on sexual choices and expression, are filled with so much righteous anger. Because we see this cycle all the time and it just seems unending. This is why we have days like the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, Trans Day of Remembrance and why Gay Pride Day is specifically on June 29th. No one else has our backs and we only have each other and why we need to support one another on our respective days. Because whenever their is an anti-[insert marginalized group here] legislation, brutality happens and if nobody cares then it never happened.
