Could be inspired. Could be a parallel to something someone else has thought of. Who knows? So, I have a fairly regular lover. At least as regular as I want to make it. I feel odd calling him a "boyfriend" because he's not a boy at age 49 nor do necessarily gaze deeply into each others eyes...all the time. Okay. Most of the time. But we do go on dates. On the other hand, "lover" can sound too formal or too Danielle Steele-y. I usually refer to him as "the Dude I'm Fucking". That's the most accurate in my opinion, but I can't always say "fuck" or any derivation thereof in public. So I'm using the acronym DIF to refer to him now. On occasion, though, I'll call him "The Teacher" or "The Professor" since he is my former instructor. Hmm... I think I like DIF better. It's funny! Laugh!
